Description

:iconvalentine-fov-stock: is hosting a contest in honor of her sweet 16.

I really wanted to participate since I like her stock, but I wanted to do something a little different. I thought back to when I was 16... back when dinosaurs roamed the earth :giggle: and thought perhaps I could pass along a little wisdom. I decided that the only thing I would recommend to someone at 16 is to be yourself. Love who you are and do not be anything that you don't want to be. Don't let anyone ruin your dreams. If you can dream it you can do it.

This young lady has a beautiful talent. I wish that at 16 I had been doing something that was so much fun.

This piece is a representation of what being 16 means. You are in a sense stepping through a new door into a whole new existence. You can drive on your own, you are able to have a job in most places. It is a milestone of youth. The next big one is 18, but it doesn't hold the fun of 16. Enjoy this age and this time.

If you get the chance read the book called Oh the Places You Can Go by Dr. Seuss.
Yes he writes children's books but was a wise man. He taught us all about sharing and predjudice and how to love the planet and how to try anything once because you never know what you will like.

This is one of 4 pieces I have done for this lovely lady... the other three are all the wonderful places her stock can take you and a tribute to her talent and versatility as a stock artist.

Happy Birthday!  :airborne:
