This is my entry for the
 Disney Storybook Contest [link] I was originally going to go with a scroll, but I could not get it to look right so I went with the next best thing, a handmade book. When I was wandering the stock section here I found some fabulous leather stitching and the rest fell together easily. This is my first try at really doing any shading on a colored piece. I think it turned out pretty good all things considered.I used a picture from one of my daughter's coloring books, slapped a grid on it and DREW it!  For those of you who know me, you know drawing is NOT my strong suit. It was so hard. I have been working on this since the contest started and finally decided it is as done as it is going to be. I was afraid if I messed with it anymore it would implode and suck the world into a hideous vortex of doom...Anywho, thanks to my daughter  for helping me find the right background to use behind the book.
