Chix

This is a picture of my horse Chix. After 23 years of being away from horses I am finally back to riding. When I was younger almost all my time was spent on the back of a horse. I loved it like nothing else. Sadly, when my parents both lost their jobs, we lost our horses. I was never able to get another and I have missed it every day since.

This beautiful girl is a 5 year old thoroughbred who has more heart than any horse I have ever known. She is a gentle soul and she loves to be out with us. The gentleman who owns the stable and who gave me the opportunity to call her my own says that we were meant for each other. I think he is right.
