Th3Krimzon1's Birthday!!!!!!!!

Journal Entry: Sun Aug 2, 2009, 7:23 PM

It is his Birthday August 3rd!!!!!!! I am posting this a wee bit early because I am not sure if I will be able to tomorrow. So, here it is....

There are many people who will affect you in your life. You never know who these people will be. You just have to hope that you know them when your paths cross and that you are open to the things that they are sent to teach you. Sometimes we find that when we need something the most, we can’t seem to find it. I think that it is because we look too hard at times. Sometimes it is the simplest things in this life that make all the difference. It can be a kind word when you need it the most or a simple touch of a hand. The best gifts in life are the simple ones. They are the friends we make along the way and the things that we teach each other as we go. Had anyone told me 5 years ago that I would have people I had never met that I counted as some of my truest friends, I probably would have laughed. The concept of having a friend in someone on the other side of a computer screen was foreign to me. That all changed when I met a great group of people playing on a fun little web site that I actually checked out for my kids. We played, we talked and before I knew it we were friends. These people helped me through the most challenging times in my life. They were there for me in times when people who lived right next door to me were not. When my husband was in Iraq they talked me through each and every day. They were a wonderful gift that I never expected and that I have been eternally grateful for.

What has all this got to do with :iconth3krimzon1: you may ask? I see in him a great soul. He is a kind man who does so much for so many and really asks for nothing in return other than we all share the love and friendship and treat each other with mutual respect. He is a man who could honestly be the person who just gives up. He has been through that much and he continues each day with a constant battle with pain and limitations that many of us can not begin to fathom. While I have never met Jamie I feel like we have been friends a long time. He is just one of those people who welcomes you in and wraps you up in a huge hug... even if it is a virtual one.

I know that he is reading this right now and saying that he is just him and nothing super special. I beg to differ with him. He is a kind soul and if we had more people like him on this planet then the world would be such a better place. Because of all of this I want to dedicate my journal to Jamie. I hope that today is a wonderful day for him. I know that birthdays have not been the most wonderful day for him in his lifetime, but I hope that today he sees what a wonderful thing a birthday can be when you let the love in and refuse to allow the negative to touch you. My birthday wish to him is for today to be the first of so many wonderful birthdays to come. I wish him happiness and much love with his wife Sue and his daughter Taylor. I wish him all the things that make life wonderful. He may have some broken parts physically, but his heart is good and his spirit is strong. With those things and the love of his wonderful family I know he will be blessed for his lifetime.

I know his heart because he puts it out there for all of us to see. I will not tell you all about that. Instead I will let him do it for you. Below you will find some of his wonderful writings. I hope you will go look at them and then explore his galleries further. There are poems of love, loss, joy, fear and everything else you could ever imagine. I hope that you will take the time to not just read them, but to savor them and to really think about the words. I think that if you do you will be as touched and moved as I was and continue to be every time I read something new from him. I consider him one of my true friends and I hope that someday we will be lucky enough to have our paths cross and that I will get the chance to give him a real life hug. Until then, Jamie, thank you for all your kind words, your encouragement and your wonderful example. May we all learn to live life to the fullest and to give love to all those that we can. :tighthug:

Without further ado… I present to you
:iconth3krimzon1:

P.S. I also did a wee funny manip for :iconth3krimzon1:’s birthday. I made a crack a while back that someone should turn Taylor’s picture into a pirate since Jamie always says she is one… so I did. It is not meant to be serious and I need no critiques on it ;) Just thought it would make him laugh.

Thank you :) I really love to hear what others think on subjects like this because I feel it really teaches me. I figure that the more I know the better off I am. I don't have to agree, but I will always respect.

in past i was like to impose what i believe on others, but now its not like that .... i just respect what others believe.
If i am on the right path, others will automatically follow that path ... as right path is when followed correctly, it attract others.

I think that there are many right paths. Each person must find theirs. Sometimes it will follow mine and sometimes it will cross and go on its own way. I love to share my path with others, but I also love to see where theirs will take them. I think sometimes I learn more that way. Tolerance is the key. Everyone will find their way eventually. It can never be forced, only guided and supported.
